The park allegedly failed to provide proper supervision and failed to train employees. The park’s negligence is alleged to have caused Greenwood’s death. His death has resulted in financial and emotional loss for his family. The family lost Hayes, a devoted companion and supporter, along with child care and household assistance.

The Greenwood lawsuit against Extreme Air Parks alleges that the company failed to provide adequate instruction to employees or to warn the children about dangers. The parents of Jason Greenwood filed the lawsuit in the B.C. Supreme Court and named several defendants in the case. The company has denied any negligence or breach of duty of care.
